Aerospace engineer and commercially rated pilot with a background in aerial robotics research. Driven to realise the potential of robotics to enhance Earth system Observations.

Chief Meteorological Officer

Atmospheric physicist ensuring the quality of wx obs through lab calibration, validation field trials, formatting and metadata standards. Liaison to industry and academia. Extensive field campaign and research experience, including UAS piloting. Runs toward storms.

Senior Business Support

Janice’s responsibilities include bookkeeping, HR administration and Health and Safety management. Her background is in Quality and Health & Safety Management.

Executive Assistant

Heather assists our senior management team, manages customer accounts and acts as business administrator. She bring her experience in supporting high-level executives in the past to support Menapia’s business strategy and growth planning.

Lead Engineer

Focused on the sound integration of mechanical, electrical and software systems. Mechatronics Engineer, creator of robots, 3D printers and robotic 3D printers.

Senior Robotics Engineer

Nick has a keen interest in CNC manufacture and 3D printing; he currently provides software , engineering and manufacturing support at Menapia

Prototype Engineer

Theoretical Physicist turned Engineer; with a background in computer modelling, physical prototyping, power systems design, renewable energy and bicycle touring

Robotics engineer focusing on the design, development and testing of autonomous UAV systems.

Electronics Engineer

Greg is the electrical and electronics engineer, tasked with programming our fine measurement instruments and maximising flight time by creating a high spec battery management system.

UAS Engineer

Edward has rejoined Menapia after a hiatus traveling in South America. Edward studied his Masters of Engineering at Imperial College of London before moving to Leeds.

A former CS research assistant with a focus on strategic Air Traffic Management and planning systems and learning-based UAS Safety Management Systems, Ellis now applies himself as a UAS Operations Specialist
